Spring Break

We have made it through the first half of the semester!

I am only aware of three of us attending Mass at St. Joseph's tomorrow (Saturday, 3/19) so the Station Church departure point has been changed to Subiaco, one of the Catholic Men's Houses. All other information remains the same, as previously posted.

There will be no assigned Station Churches during the week of Spring Break -- March 21, 23, and 25.

We will resume the regular schedule on Tuesday 29 March.

Have a blessed and safe week wherever you might be.

Saint Patrick's Day

CHANGE IN SCHEDULE?!?

I accidentally/nearly-on-purpose picked the perfect day to head down to the Cathedral for the station church on Saint Patrick's Day. The Cathedral is hosting a special Mass at 9:30am followed by brunch in Hayden Hall for $10 per person. If anyone is interested in Mass and/or brunch versus the regularly scheduled 7:30am Mass (see below) please comment.

I'll let the comments and RSVPs dictate the course of action for that holy Thursday morning.

The First Week of Lent

I come to realize that Spring Break is closer than I thought! Please fill out the poll in the sidebar to the right, checking what days you might be interested in attending a Station Church if you are around the Cities during Spring Break. It might be a good opportunity to travel a bit further and see some churches outside the immediate metro area.

Here is the schedule for the coming week:

Tuesday in the First Week of Lent: 3/15
Holy Spirit Parish, 7:30am Mass
515 Albert Street South, Saint Paul, MN
DEPART: 7:10am, Flynn Hall

CHANGED: MASS 9:30am; DEPART 9:00am
Commemoration (or Feast if you're Irish!!) of St. Patrick: 3/17
Cathedral of Saint Paul, 7:30am Mass
239 Selby Avenue, St. Paul, MN
DEPART: 7:10am, Flynn Hall

Solemnity of Saint Joseph: 3/19
Church of Saint Joseph, 8:00am Mass
1154 Seminole Avenue, West St. Paul
DEPART: 7:30am Flynn Hall

If possible let me know what days you might be coming/driving so I can ballpark rides and make sure everyone who wants to go can go. Also, if you feel so inclined it might be nice if each of us chipped in $1-2 for our respective drivers once in awhile.

I will always have maps to these churches for the drivers when we rendezvous at Flynn Hall, just an FYI.

Let us stay united in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

Success!

Thanks to all who pilgrimaged with us to the Church of the Assumption in St. Paul. This morning was a good opportunity to feel out how I will schedule the rest of Lent. Expect at least 2 more weeks of the Station Church schedule to be posted by Saturday evening.

Our next pilgrimage will be Tuesday 15 March.
