Saint Patrick's Day

CHANGE IN SCHEDULE?!?

I accidentally/nearly-on-purpose picked the perfect day to head down to the Cathedral for the station church on Saint Patrick's Day. The Cathedral is hosting a special Mass at 9:30am followed by brunch in Hayden Hall for $10 per person. If anyone is interested in Mass and/or brunch versus the regularly scheduled 7:30am Mass (see below) please comment.

I'll let the comments and RSVPs dictate the course of action for that holy Thursday morning.

About this Pilgrimage

For centuries, faithful in the city of Rome have followed a set rubric of attending Mass and other devotions on a specific day during the Lenten season. These churches were even published in the Missale Romanum in earlier editions.

Each year the Pontifical North American College organizes these Masses for the English speaking population of Rome. Students from the Catholic Studies program at the University of Saint Thomas have brought this tradition to the Archdiocese of Minneapolis/Saint Paul and continue this noble and beneficial pilgrimage for the 2011 Lenten Season.
